    OK had to re-read first part of post, hold the trip reset button then turn key to ON position and release button. I read this last night and din't try it till tonight, my bad. I try it again later.

    I tried cycling the key on and off holding the trip reset button, the only thing that happened was sets of #'s that came up. 666666 then 777777 thru 999999 and then the miliage came up. Is this normal?

    Well I must be blind cause all the XJ's look the same to me, at least on the outside. Have any of you heard others say the only diff bewteen the KJ and the KK is the front end? :eek: I can't beleive it when I hear it.

    Undercoating

    Rust is not an issue and I want to keep it that way. Whats a good brand to buy as far as undercoating products. I know the guys up the street at dunlops so I can use a bay and get my car up on a lift, will make it a lot easier to do. Did I say car I meant jeep.

    Has anybody done or though about undercoating their jeep. Not just for mud or water but for the salt and everyday grit on the roads. I always wash mine real good but was thinking about something extra to protect against rust.

    Tow hooks for the front how about the rear

    I all ready know I'm gettings tow hooks for the front but what do you guys prefer for the rear. I was thinking about a hitch for the rear as I can always put a hook on to it.

    This is what upsets me a little, why would they put a open differential in a 4wd. It takes away from the idea of a 4wd.
