    Recommended spark plugs

Using the "Plus 4" plugs will make one (and only one) difference: more empty space in your wallet.

    What's next for the KK?

A Cummins diesel in model year 2010.

    08 Liberty Auto Trans.

Scared the crap out of me, the first time mine did it. I looked in the rear-view mirror to see if there were any parts in the road!

Goop in the oil fill cap area...

I've noted the same thing (the "goop") with both Fords and Chevrolets.

    08 Liberty Auto Trans.

I experience exactly the same thing with my '07.

Goop in the oil fill cap area...

"The guy" must not be very observant. This is going to happen with any vehicle which frequently makes short trips and doesn't get warmed up enough to cook the condensation out of the oil. It's not something exclusive to Chryslers, Dodges and Jeeps.

    Problems with the windows

So far, my '07 has had to have the track for the driver's door window lubed and the regulator in the driver's side rear door replaced.

    Antenna

You might want to look into one of those short, black "Euro-style" antennas. They work just as well and are far less prone to getting bent in car-washes.

    I hate the dealership.

I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I'm on my third Jeep from the same dealer (Dave Burt Chrysler Jeep Dodge, in Columbus, Indiana) and have never had anything but excellent service.

My first KJ--My first problem--Wheels spin on wet pavement

My mistake. Not the first time that's happened. I was stationed in Thailand for a while!

tire rotation & spare tire holder removal

Yeah, I guess I hadn't even considered the roads and driving conditions. Over here in "the colonies" we're used to getting out on the open road, setting the cruise control at about 75 or 80 mph, and letting her romp. That would definitely make a difference.

tire rotation & spare tire holder removal

Man - what kind of tires are they selling in Wales, anyway? If I didn't get at least 40,000 miles out of a set, I'd be highly P-O'd. I've had many sets go well over that. I've got nearly 20,000 on my current tires and they are barely showing any wear, at all. Are you keeping your inflation up...

My first KJ--My first problem--Wheels spin on wet pavement

If she has a 2005, it would have SelecTrac, wouldn't it? Driving it in 4/Full Time would be fine. (Of course, her problem is probably her tires, though.)

    Reverse rear view mirror tilt

I couldn't agree more. Blind-spot mirrors are the first things I put on a new vehicle. They really should be standard equipment.

tire rotation & spare tire holder removal

I'm with you, Dave. To me, it's just common sense to get as much wear out of all 5 tires as possible. I've paid for 5 full-size tires, and plan to get my money's worth. I always use the pattern of spare to right rear, right rear to right front, right front to left rear, left rear to left...

    Jeep Being Sold

Of course it will be. People get all excited about whether a company is "American" or "British" or "Outer Mongolian", and I can't see where it really makes all that much difference, any more. These companies are all so international, inter-mixed, and in-bred that you can't tell where one stops...
