Will my stock tires be okay for winter?

With your tires being as new as they are, you should be fine this winter. Not to mention you have the ESP, which only helps things.

    No More Liberty

My wife picked up her new Jeep last night. It's a 2001 WJ limited (sorry). Her oldest son is getting ready to go to college, and she wanted something she could get paid off sooner. The Jeep has 44,000 miles on it and is in great shape. I'm sure she'll enjoy it, me being a WJ owner myself.

    No More Liberty

Actually those are Bridgestones on it, and it was dry and sunny. I am happy with how well the KJ held up in that crash, and I'm also glad there were no passengers in it.

    No More Liberty

she lost control for some reason, and crossed over the centerline into the path of an oncoming Ford Ranger. The driver of the Ranger is okay, and his passenger seemed to be banged up about the same as my wife.

    No More Liberty

My wife totalled her Liberty this morning. Fortunately she's okay, abit banged up and sore, but the Liberty is done. We'll replace the Jeep, I'm just glad she's not seriously injured. [/img]

    Liberty Headlight Adjustment?

I agree, the lighting on the KJ is worse than the lighting on my TJ, and they don't have a reputation for good lighting.

    goodyear mt/r's

I run the MT/R tires on my Wrangler and my Grand Cherokee. They'll last between 20-25,000 miles, maybe more depending on how you drive. Good luck finding them in stock right now though, Goodyear is retooling, and they are on national backorder. If you find 31s in stock let me know. Here is a...

    Camp Jeep 2005

You'll need to find either a campsite or hotel in the area. I use AAA travel to book my room when we go. It seems like they can find rooms closer to the site than if you book on your own. At least thats been my experience in the past.

    Black Stuff from Exhaust???

It's just loose carbon, that comes out with the condensate. Nothing to worry about, as carbon is a normal byproduct of combustion. My Jeeps do this as well.

    Convential Oil, who uses what?

I buy Mopar filters by the case. Most dealers will discount them when you buy them in bulk, besides they're not produce, they can sit on the shelf until you need them.

    thinking of getting these

I've had good luck with that tire in the past. It seems the treadwear isn't what it used to be. I used to get 50k out of a set of those tires, the last set I had was good for 30k. Best of all they're made in the U.S.A.

Soon to be Released KJ Lift

Yeah, the cost will probably be up there, but other than the fact that this one is for a uni-body, it can't be too much different than what is available for a Chevy truck. Besides, could you imagine 33's on a Liberty?

Soon to be Released KJ Lift

This is the KJ lift I'd like to use. I have one of this companies lifts on my WJ and am quite pleased with the quality and engineering. http://www.rockkrawler.com/pages/kjsystem.html

Can of Tire Inflator... Bad or Good?

If you flat out, use the spare. If you cut a tire off-road, a can of sealant probably won't work anyhow.

CRDs built in the same place?

I know the Liberty is made in Toledo, but I don't know where the CRD comes from. The engine may be shipped to the TNAP for production.

    Daystar

The Daystar spacers are the best. Daystar manufactures polyurethane for many applications. I ran the Daystar spacers on my Jeep WJ for a while, until it was time to go higher.I'm sure they would be fine on a KJ.
