Fixed windshield cowl. Red neck engineered a solution. Since the person who replaced the windshield forgot to leave space for the cowl clips (over caulked) I was able to secure the cowl. But there was a small gap. I masked it off then filled the gap with black permatex.

clevis bracket help I know all say go to a bone yard....but if they sit there, wont they be just as rusted away as the one your trying to replace(in my case). The 2 or 3 ive seen on ebay and amazon are crappy looking also....I would even settle for a link to after market clevis brackets even if...

yeah i was glad to remove mouse feces and urine, shop vac'd & lysol'd and added a dryer sheet (attached externally with 4 dabs of hot glue).

until i have the time to run to my resurrection yard i found 4 laying inside the cavity...reattached them, and now i wait to see if it hold until i can get to a replacement. someone replaced the windshield and the sealant went past the edge of the windshield causing them to break.

there is a possibility that you may need to replace all speakers and run new wires if amps wont turn on or are dead.

found out why i have a gap....

found out someone had windshield cowl off and looks like they had windshield replaced and too much of the windshield sealant pushed out so the 9 cowl clips couldn't lock into place...they then used glue and velcro to hold it in place. found a mouse nest also, no residents
