    "Enhanced Stock" lift project- opinions?

Hi ya'll- been awhile, but now that I've put a few thousand miles on the *Blue Piglet* (libatlblue), i have my plan for it's long term usability. I mean it is not easy to justify a vehicle that is not a Wrangler or Cherokee for off road; is not great on mpg, power or highway handling- as the...

    Tools for OME lift

Cardhu- thank you so much for the detailed response- i saw at least 2 items that i do not have, and those "i wish i did this" points are priceless time savers for those of us who haven't done this before. Jack placement seems like one of the most important parts of the procedure. Scary excitement!

    Tools for OME lift

Hi Tomm, Thanks for posting- you are the man. i guess what i meant to ask in reference to "the bottom of the ball joint" is replacing the steering knuckle. Do you always replace or just inspect it for damage? I don't have any problems that would indicate a need to replace, but maybe its a good...

    Tools for OME lift

Happy thanksgiving holiday everyone! Ok, i have settled on a plan of action and am wanting to make sure i have all the tools necessary. I will be putting in the complete OME 1 1/2" heavy duty lift (not CRE) and the JBA UCA. I have never done a job like this but it looks fairly straight...

Any thoughts on a Plan of action for my '03 ?

Hi HJ- thanks for the welcome and your comment. Ya, your KJ is a real looker and close to what i have in mind. Do the CRD springs ride smooth enough? I would rather take my chances w/o the bumper than have a ride that "nobody" likes :disgust::shrug:(wink,wink).

Pics of my "new" 2003 KJ

Ya, it is blue... is it a Smurf-mobile? If the Jeep is a rockin'... oh, never mind...:evillol: My guess is that the tow pkg is the hitch, wiring harness, and 4.1 diffy. That's it. The 19.25" wheel well measurement is just a fluke of never being used to tow or carry anything...
