I thought long and hard between arb and RL. Ended up ordering not ony a front but also a rear RL bumper. Even though i like the look of the arb a little more, the RL front bumper doesnt stick out like the arb. Function over form. And you can get a front hitch with the RL

I bought the JCR's stage 3 a year ago, still need to put them on... They look nice but when i "held" them in place a week ago, something doesnt look right... I have heard more good things about RL than JCR. I am getting RL front and rear bumpers
Ok, So I have been thinking of gearing and tire size. I have seen here on the forum that 245 75R16's with 4.10's is very popular. I made an excel sheet that calculated the Engine RPM vs gearing vs speed to see what size tire and gearing get you back to stock and I came up with 265 75R16's and...
JBA 2.5" with Fox socks with reservoirs on all corners, JBA upper control arms wih 245/75/16 rubi wheels.
Ride is great, offroad is fantastic
Worth every penny

I just lost the right side hg on saturday... and am thinking of just pulling in a new engine. With 150K on this engine, and a rock lizard front and rear bumper on the way, i figure this will be the toy for years to come

J-Thompson,
I had the same thoughts. Johnny Joints and DOM tubing. After the house remodel, that "mod" is on the list. I talked to someone (not Marlin) at JBA about this and he said that they had tried this and it allowed a lot of road noise to travel into the cab.
The other benefit I see...
I have seen an adaptor box that allows you to run the CB antenna as the radio simulatiously, but you can't exceed a certain wattage or you blow the radio.

Ok, I know I have seen a chart in the CD manual that details RPM vs speed but I cannot for the life of me find it again.
Anyone know what I am talking about?
Its on 04' with the 3.7L and the NV3550
Thanks,
S
I thought the NV3550 was rated for a 7xxx # vehicle at 300 #'s O torque? Can't remember where I got that information though. Darn, you just made this dream harder...

tjkj - it has the cylinder management where it can turn off cylinders under low power demand, is that the same as vvt? I figure advanced adaptors has the bellhousing to me it work with my NV3550. I also dont have ABS so clearance issues and motor mounts are the top challenges.
