    U.S or Imperial ?

Here in the UK, I had hoped that it was displaying US gallons, at 33 mpg US (Diesel) that would have been about 40MPG UK. unfortunately, if you switch it to metric, and do the calculation, you should find it's displaying correctly :0( Miff

ECU Chip - 2010 CRD Cherokee / Liberty - UK

Well I'm chuffed. After driving the Jeep for a few days, it definitely feels more 'lively', a much smoother, easier drive, and the new test speeds are: Bottom of hill 70 mph Foot hard down, reaches 82 mph Crest of hill reaches...

Ah, did you spot the 'CRD' in the subject line ? Us Brits are firmly in the grip of Diesel engines . The UK KK has a 2.8 Litre Italian Common Rail Diesel (CRD) motor fitted. With petrol at £6 a gallon ($9 Dollars?) we have no choice ! Miff

ECU Chip - 2010 CRD Cherokee / Liberty - UK

well, I have taken the plunge and ordered a chip to be fitted by an auto electrician. Should be happening today. I have had the Jeep for two months and made a note of some 'baselines' to see if anything improves. If it fixes the massive over-rev between (manual) gear changes, I'll be chuffed...

    Safety Issues

Ouch, tough luck fella, can't believe a metal cover would wear through a drive shaft ! check the breaker yards for the parts, you may be able to get back on the road a bit cheaper Miff
