    I'm in the process of changing the Transfer case switch and couldn't figure out how to release the connector that goes to the t.case switch. I see a tab but pulling it out does nothing to ease the release of the connector, and putting it inwards doesn't either. What's the correct way to get it off?

    Because the clock spring is expensive! And I wouldn't quite say it's easy, you have to take apart the whole steering column.

    Passenger side, all the way down. It's on a tube like thing, a part that connects the tube to the bottom has oil on the seal. Maybe muffler was the wrong choice of words. I don't have paint, so I can't draw an arrow, but it's that part all the way on the bottom, straight down in the middle...
