My sister has an 05 KJ 2WD, hers does not have the trail rated badge. You really cant see a difference from just looking at the side or rear. If you look from the front you might see the absence of a front dif. or inside there is no shifter.

Traded in the KJ on a new Toyota. Now I can drive down the road with the radio on. I was afraid to listen to the radio in the KJ, I was to busy listening for parts falling off.I will miss the old girl. I still have the WJ & the MK74 (Patriot)

I bought the Mopar rubber mats back in 07 when I bought the Jeep. Not sure if theyre still available. They fit well and Im still using them.,

I pre-drilled holes and used self drilling hex tek screws to reattach mine. Been holding up for about 3 or 4 years now.

Oil change on the MJ. All fluids checked & filled on MJ & KJ. Both washed and vacuumed.

I've never checked my KJ but on my '08 HHR the brake lights would only work if the car was running. Chevy tech said this was normal. Just throwing this out there.

Metric 8.8 bolts are equivalent to sae grade 5. Metric 10.9 bolts are equivalent to sae grade 8. As a general rule if its going under the vehicle use 10.9 or grade 8. I sell hardware for a living. Fastenall is 1 of our competitors. Depending on what there are in your area for vendors...

I noticed today that while driving my tach doesnt always respond to rpm changes. I can drive along at a steady speed and give it a little gas, you hear the engine pick up speed but the tach needle doesnt move. It has done it a few times when decelerating as well but mostly while accelerating...
