Well buddies,

part number of these lower front ball joints are 05114037 AI or AH among others that fix all libbys from 2002 to 2007

However, I wanted to buy a pair of Moog brand.

Moog has two different pieces ,one K3199 that fits 2002/2004 and K80767 that fits 2005/2007.

If Mopar uses only one for all libbys model, why Moog has different ball joints?? Anybody knows about this??

The moog k3199 fit all model years. Running an 07 which has the other part number and the k3199 fit for the exact reason you listed above.

Hi everyone -
Ok so I’m having this problem/issue rn. I have a 2007 Libby kj, so does anyone know the part number for the ball joints? Obviously it’s mentioned above for the Moog but when I looked at the parts manual it said…
05114037AH for my Libby. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Again thank you
Missy

Look it up in Rockauto. It will give you part numbers for quite a few different brand names. I have just gone to the local part store with part number in hand. They can cross reference if needed

Evidently the K80767 has a longer stud, but its not needed? Everything I can find says the K3199 will fit 02-07.

The 05114037AH is the Mopar part number. I would much rather use the Moog K3199.

What is the difference between the early and late model year Moog lower ball joints?
For the Jeep Liberty KJ, Moog offers two different part numbers for the lower ball joints (K3199 and K80767) depending on the year. The primary difference appears to be the location of the cotter pin hole on the stud. It is crucial to order the correct part for your specific model year to ensure the castle nut and cotter pin fit correctly.
