Is the fact that the left blinker clickety-clacks at the right tempo a clue that the problem is on the right side? I walked all the way around and everything looks good. Only thing I couldn't easily test were the backup lights and brake lights.

I see the ching chong ding **** is back.
The question is why tommudd was online since then and didn't take out the garbage?

I picked the right time to install the remote start on my 2006 Liberty with the snow and cold weather this past week

Drove to get a haircut. On the way back I turned on my right turn signal and it was clacking away at me like an out of control Morse code sender with a gallon of Red Bull in him. When I got home, all my lights and blinkers tested out just fine.

Any thoughts? I am going deer hunting for the next four days and would rather not find myself 100 miles down the road with a Jeep issue...

Weird. Aftermarket bumper? Mine has done it since the arb replacement Abt 5 years ago, everything works, just my left blinker is fast...no other issues, everything is functioning properly.

Also side marker lights maybe? Idk if it's the same circuit, think so though.

Stock bumper, and all running lights are fine.

This is just the latest of a few weird things in the past two months. Maybe my Jeep is trying to tell me something. :(

It's just trying to tell you that it's a jeep, and that it loves you. That's how jeeps tell their owner's they love them! Mine is infatuated with me, I tell ya! It seems also that our jeeps are connected through the waves (Radio?, Micro?, who knows) As I am also battling an evap leak, AND, I had this issue with my turn signals too, for me it was a bad ground from the connector to the chassis. As I did not have the time (at the time, now it's to cold out, or any other excuse will do) I just tapped in a new ground wire with one of those quick taps and ran it to the chassis.

Installed a remote start in the 2006 Liberty, one that I had planned to install in my 96 Chevy K1500 before the torque converter went out. I might have to get a couple resistors as I want the parking lamps to show an acknowledgment of when it gets commands and another for remote unlock from the remote start remote.

What remote start did you use and would you recommend? I'm looking to do the same to my '06.

which remote start kit did you use?

I wish I'd been able to pick up the factory add-on kit.

I had an old Avital 4103L around that I was going to use on my 1996 Chevy truck before the torque converter gave out, you might want to look around and see if something newer has better features. I used the same model on my 04 Sunfire for a few years without issues until the motor went on that. I haven't got a Security bypass on it yet as I live in the middle of nowhere, might put one in next year.
The parking lights and door lock feature work but I haven't been able to get door unlock to work with the correct resistor but I have a wiring diagram and will try with a relay direct to the door lock solenoid and skip the resistor and that isn't a big deal as I have relays around. I did post a question here about the door unlock issue and someone had the same result with the resistor. You can find wiring instructions at bulldogsecurity.com or the12volt.com

I heard the factory add on kit had bad range and a nephew had a KK and the remote start on it just quit working according to him and he never asked me to look at it.
I would avoid bulldog remote start as I have problems with those in the past but companies that are part of DEI are really good

Tom, I usually use https://www.jeepkj.com/recent-activity/
It is a nice option as it shows recent posts plus profile changes as some spam bots just join to add spam homepage links like https://www.jeepkj.com/members/peter-milder.29266/

What's a tune up on a JK? Making sure the angry birds grill is still on good? Punisher sticker still in tact? Check to make sure the spare is stock and the others are 37s with 3:23 gears? LOL I crack myself up...probably shouldn't quit my day job anytime soon.

Jeremy Thanks, I did not see them under recent activity. You seem to able to find them very well & we all appreciate it.
If you open their profile you may see report available there as well?
Anyways, I took care of all 3 as above, including Peter Milder (got your report ) they are all toast.
PM me if you find em. I'll look after them, so Tom does not have to worry about them.

The one I did plugs, air filter etc on brought it to me since gas mileage recently went way down .
He mentioned this when he came back to pick it up. When asking when it started he told me soon after installing new tires and lift. LOL
Yes running 35s on 10 inch wide steel wheels on stock gearing. Told him he needd to regear and his response was the tire shop told him he would be fine and regearing was a huge waste of money. What idiots . He's getting 8 MPG I guess from the way he talked
Some people are just stupid and will not listen to reason
