Aside from an unknown accident to me, what would cause such a difference in UCA to spring gapping? Driver's side nice clearance, pass side clangs on a pebble.

Ome springs
1/4 top plate
Kk clevis

They are all like that somewhat. Plus you are up there at over 3.25/3.50 inches so you have what you have

I think Tom has it... with just 927 springs and a top plate, you would get by.. more or less.. it might be close, but stock UCA's would be OK at 3.0" above stock. That KK clevis giving you another half-ish inch, might be what pushed you over the edge and into "Need aftermarket-improved UCA's" territory.

Yes I also see JBA 4.5 in Zero402's future.

Better alignment with the 4.5's and much greater spacing between Upper A-Arm & spring.

The gap is like I stated, its a design flaw, or their jig was setup wrong for 5 years or so. That was one of the questions I had when I toured the Jeep plant in Toledo. They said it was right on :happy175::happy175:
Anyways , back to your issue, JBA UCAs will help a little, but again you're getting up into the range that they are just going to hit.
That's why I jumped at the JBA coilovers when they came out, smaller diameter and no chance of hitting

So lemme ask this, cause I just noticed it. Is this part of the design flaw you mention? Notice the bolt heads for the endlinks, pass side is pushed further down compared to drivers side, meaning greater angle. I checked measurement and its a 1/2" difference. That the flaw issue ? Is that spring sag on one side over the course of a year (sure the hell hope not)?

Drivers side ( left side ) always sits lower
reason for adding just a bit more on that side when you do a lift

What's your wheel/tire combo? Looks like you're either using spacers or a different wheel with way different backspacing.
