Depends on how you look at it
So far on Kili its had 6 new tri-links even at say 300 each that's 1800 bucks I've thrown away on them.
But also I don't have a thing to say about pricing or anything else

Couldn't that be because you typically didn't run the Y-link extension?

Don't get my wrong. My rear UCA is shot to shit in the bushings department. I'd love to get rid of the thing...just not ready to drop $300 more into my Jeep at this point.

I also don't doubt that it's a quality product. But $600 can go towards a lot of other more necessary repairs...

Or the fact that you can get the welded on one that looks beefier for ~$60 more.

Hey Tom, did you guys ever fix the issue with the bracket breaking the bolts in the differential?

Thats weld on not bolt on

Yep, was well aware of that, which was why...

This is the one on JBA's website. Haven't found yours, it must be well hidden.

Point being, I looked for yours and didn't find it, it didn't come up listed in the same category as the weld on one. But then, his site isn't the best to navigate, and I won't even get into all the misspelled words he has there. lol

I had to follow the link in an email Marlin sent out regarding a meet he's going to in Michigan. In the email he had a link to the new 4-link and the spare tire carrier he's made.

Here's the link to the new bolt-on 4-link.

Bracket didn't break the bolts, not sure how you think that. Was more from one bolt partially backing out , some very hard launches on the street racing a Jk and then next day beating it on the farm

There is a guy on LOST who is selling or making or designing one as well , cheaper from what I have heard so some of you may want to check his product out. Hasn't been tested nearly as much, but cheaper

Since you were the one who tested it, posted it, and promoted it, the reference to differentiate one from the other was made as "yours" since it was nobody else here.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and figure you're smart enuff to know why I worded it that way, maybe. :happy175:

Ah, thanks for the update. I remembered reading about an issue but never saw what the outcome was. :waytogo:

I actually figure I am dumber than a box of rocks
at least from some of the comments,.......
but wanted to make sure everyone knew it was not mine, reason for mentioning the TM Econo Lift, some think I'm making a ton of money from these different things so reason why I commented the way I did. But then I figure you're smart enuff to know why I worded it that way, :icon_lol:

Yall dont like the price? Along with me.....you can do to the Iron Rock Offroad upper WJ arm and whitbykj bracket, which is just like the JBA bracket.

The arm has been tested for many years, and the bracket is super stout and has been tested on the rocks a few times up in Colorado.

But pay JBA price and deal with cheap 3/4" heim joints or IRO and save a few dollars and have a huge joint.

I make custom track bars for the KK and they use 3/4" chromoly heims, super stout heims and .25" DOM. I honestly expected atleast that with the JBA. I was honestly disappointed in the links. If he would sell just the bracket, I could make my own links.

JBA offers the chromoly links with the tri link. I don't think you can call either of the offered links cheap in any way. They're obviously tried and tested. I agree the price is up there, but you factor in the prices of the joints, arms, bracket...not to mention the labor cost to build the bracket and the cost of building one yourself starts to creep closer and closer to the JBA cost

And thats what I love......I can build this for half the cost.....but not everyone can do that. Just like I said before, JBA has to make a profit, and his products are the best production items in the KJ world.

Can you point me in the direction for that bracket? :) No way I'm going OEM for the same price as the upgraded GC boomerang.

Also, I assume you toss the Y-Link extension with this?
