I hope that someone can help me figure this out, so the other day I ended up getting in to an accident and the end result was me hitting a big rock. Anyway the part that I broke I can not figure out what it is, the part is under the passenger side axle shaft tube, from what I can tell it helps to hold the axle shaft up. It's a L shaped aluminum casting with a cut out where the axle goes, it also has 2 rubber bushings where it bolts on to the car. I don't know if this is a good enough explanation or not but if someone could please help me out in anyway I would greatly appreciate it and I will try to get pictures of it as soon as possible. Thank you guys for your time.

Yeah passenger side right below cv axle, it supports the whole passenger side axle shaft. I'm not positive that axle shaft is the correct name but hopefully it can give you an idea. I'll try to get pictures up in a couple minutes.

Lower control arm, maybe? (just a guess, without seeing a pic)

I added photos of the part that I am trying to identitfy to the original post sorry for the delay. I know they are not the greatest photos but hopefully someone might be able to figure out what it is. I'll try to get better photos in the morning. Thank you everyone.

Wow, I guess he needs to break cheaper stuff. I'm with ouroboros, head to the pick and pull.

That'd be my course of action!

I agree - but I wouldn't buy just that part. You can buy the entire front diff for less than $200 - and there are plenty out there. Nearly all the KJ's I see at pick-n-pulls have their interior guts torn out - the front diffs are always part of the carcass that is left at the end.
