Don't tell that to the lu lux lan! The ARB Safari snorkel is the only one I have seen around other than knock offs, I don't mind the look but I mind the price tag for something that would get very occasional usage, Are you referring to an exhaust up pipe?

There I'll loan ya a "K" :shrug::icon_lol:
If running rivers you'll need to do a lot of other things other than worrying about the stock airbox.

Rip the carpet out, cut some drain holes, install CJ/TJ drain plugs, roll on some bedliner...hose out interior after your voyage! easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!

Haha I have been tempted to do this, I miss the vinyl floor I had in my pick up.

Nope not that easy to do PLUS you'll be burning your toes when driving. Buddy tried it, didn't take but a day to reinstall teh carpet

I have done it in my 06. Its easy to rip out the carpet, but rerouting the wires is a pain. The floor board does get warm, but i dont have any blisters and its not too bad.

the up pipe he is referring to is used on the intake on later model KJs
the early ones had the silencer box attached to the throttle body, later they had a plastic tube the whole way. i hear that grand cherokee guys with the 3.7 put these on to eliminate to silencer box...

John is the current expert on swapping one of those 04 air tube to the 03:happy175:
He's found out all of the diameter changes etc , he may even know more than he initially wanted to find out :ROFLJest:
