Disable stater kill on my 02 Libby ?

Hey all got a 02 liberty sport earlier this year great car but I'm concerned about the key fob failing and I won't be able to start truck.

It does not have transponder key setup but I have to press unlock on key fob for blinking led light to go off and be able to start ignition . I would like to disable this starter kill. Not concerned about theft ,,, any ideas? Thanks !!!

First post and you want to know how to hot wire a Liberty. Really! And why are you not worried a bought theft? Does anyone else think odd a bought this or is it just me.

Yes it's my first post here but I have been active on other similar sites like wrangler forum which I also own. My daughter has been driving this jeep most if this year. I'm just paranoid that it can't start without hitting the unlock on the key fob. What if that fails ? I have keep extra battery with her, I changed the lock cylinder today because it was hanging up and hard to turn. While I was working on it I just got thinking about that damn starter kill. Don't like it.

Is it after market if so most have a hidden bypass.

The best I can tell its factory. Uses factory key fob and led light on dash. Wiring looks to be factory. Also there is a push button under dash center below steering column

? My 03 Sport doesn't have any of that unless it was an option?
