when standing still at idle there's getting a groaning noise coming from under my Jeep whenever I put it into gear. Like the description says, the noise stops when the transmission is shifted into neutral or park. It then goes away after the car warms up or whenever i accelerate.
I'm going to pull the transmission out just to look around and torque stuff up, do you guys have any ideas to what I should be looking for?
I'm thinking its a bearing or flex plate, definitely not the torque converter. But to be honest i've never seen an open transmission before so i have no idea what im doing.
