There is no way that Mopar will offer any kind of kit for the Liberty The last line in the article about the possibility of a Comanche kit and that Liberty owners could keep their fingers crossed in just something that the author of the article stated and has no basis whatsoever...

That Chinese one looks like a Tacoma with a liberty front end plastered on it... I personally don't like it at all. I bought the liberty to have room for a couple passengers and a little cargo room. With a bed that small you wouldn't have any cargo room at all in it. Just my .02...

I think the KK might look kinda cool as a pickup, but yeah, it will never happen, I'm sure the construction of the vehicle wouldn't lend itself to an easy conversion like the Wrangler would.

Right - Wrangler is a full frame vehicle. The roof is a structural part of the KJ/KK unibody. Anything is possible, but I think it'd be fairly involved with the bracing and whatnot needed.

Friend in Charlotte sent me a link to a recent article - basically, no new vehicles for now from Jeep - all their resources are tied up supporting Fiat's current plans - no money or personnel for new projects.

And then what is the reason they have applied to add over 300,000 square foot to the existing buildings here in Toledo??? I guess, nothing new
Think again

Think again

Tell that to the CEO of Jeep - he was the one quoted in the article.
