Lately I've been prowling through wrecking yards looking for Liberty parts. I couldn't help but admire the Renegades even though most of the Libby's were pretty messes up SHOCKED.gif

I'm now pondering recovering a set of billet style Renegade fender flares to put on my 04 Liberty. Is it possible? has anybody done it before?

Is it true that the Renegade hood is different than the standard type?

Everything you say is 100% possible.

Renegade hood is only different for '05+ Renegades.

I'm not surprised there's so much interest in the Renegade.

I guess I won't get the 05 Renny hood, it would mean changing the whole front end. The Renny lightbar would be nice, so would the higher capacity alternator too providing I get the BCM programed to handle it.

I have seen a Renny in one of the wrecking yards I frequent however it was pretty smashed in the accident. I never noticed if the flares were damaged. That's one of the biggest problems I have when scouring the yards. Typically the Libby's are pretty badly smashed up, that's why they're in a wrecking yard. I might have to get flares off of two or three different model year Renny's. LOL, it's going to look like a "Johnny Cash" car ;)

As for the comment "Who likes flat chested and flat assed girls anyways??". I've often found that they have other assets that more than make up for what they're lacking elsewhere :D

Why would I want to stare at something flat?
Curves are where its at.

Sounds like someone is spending a little too much time with his Jeep (apparently that's possible).

Its ok to love your jeep Budke, just dont LOVE your jeep...

on a lighter note, its so nice to see so many people with renny envy! hahah

Saw one on e-bay recently with starting bid of $299.95....off a junkyard Renne....no harness or switch...checked back later and it was sold....one bid.....I missed it.

Easier to add a light bar than sun roof. Been there done that (aftermarket sun roof on old 93 Bonneville)...

And don't forget the cool. All Renegades are born with it. Too bad you round hood guys can't bolt that **** on eh?

The cool is a tough aftermarket upgrade. I'm glad mine came with it factory installed. But don't forget about the bumper mounted fogs too. No one mentioned those yet.
