i have a 06 liberty and i want to upgrade a few things, but i don't want to void my warranty.


i want to do

2 inch lift
bigger tires but keep the stock wheels

ARB BULL BAR
Xenarc 7" IN-DASH Touchscreen VGA Monitor / DVD Receiver MDT-X7000
Jotto Desk setup for my laptop with AutoTap - OBDII Diagnostic Scanner setup

I have a gold warranty on my Libby that I don't want to void either. Speak to your local dealership and see what they think before buying any mods for your Libby.

Oddly my dealership didn't care how much of a lift I put on my Libby just how big of a tire I'd buy. But I'm still confused, they can't seem to tell me what that size would be. I presently have a 2.5" spacer lift and I'm shopping for some 245/70/16 BFG's.

not suprising about not caring about a lift. however, tires change dynamics of a lot of things in the drivetrain. you put bigger tires on just because they fit, now your ****** is stressed, joints, shafts, etc. are out of spec which causes premature failure.

I wouldnt go too big unless the size has already been tested and documented.

Well I never had any issues with my P245/70R16s. They're not much bigger than the stock tires.

The few dealers I have spoken too suggest that a tire 2 sizes larger than largest stock size is Ok for warranty claims and they don't worry too much about small lifts but Won't warranty any non-stock components of course.
