I spent over 8 hours today putting the OME springs and Rancho shocks in the front of my Jeep, but it's finally done.

I was not able to get the lower control arm on the driver's side out to replace the lower shock bushing like I had planned. Everything came apart but the front cam bolt.

I got the nut off it but the bolt was rusted inside the bushing. I tried a breaker bar to spin it loose, beating on the end of it with a hammer, but nothing worked. After almost an hour and a half, I gave up. I put everything together the way it was.

I figure I'll just drive it the way it is until spring. Hopefully by then I can afford the lower control arms and new cam bolts.

Does anyone know where I can buy lower control arms?

I've seen a ton of places that sell the uppers, but not the lower.

Thanks

Oh just to let you know if you have one seized cam bolt you will not be able to get a alignment, they may be able to get it close but will not be able to do it correctly with a seized cam bolt.

The part #'s are(most updated as far as I know)........

Right LCA--52088636AF
Left LCA--52088637AF

They also come with all 3 bushings installed.Oh boy they increased in price since I bought mine:eek:(I bought both of mine for the price of one now),don't worry all KJ's from '02-'07 use the exact same LCA's no matter what the places state.

I did some digging around and it looks like Rusty's sells them for $125 each. That's a far cry from what Mopar wants. I just don't know if they come with the bushings or not. They're the same part numbers you posted though.

As for the cam bolt, I could rotate it, it just wouldn't come out. If they can't align it, then I'll have to buy the LCA sooner rather than later.

Yes. Rusty's appears to be an authorized Crown dealer.

Hopefully I can order them before they price goes up.
