what type axle have kj ?

Hi i have a kj 3.7 2003
ANY IDEA WHAT REAR AXLE I GET ?? (DANA 35 ,40 etc)
I WANT TO INSTALL A REAR LOCKER AND I DONT NOW HOW TO FIND
THE TYPE OFF AXLE.. (Aeh) (Aeh)

I know in North America, 99.99999% of KJ's came with the Chrysler 8.25 rear axle. I've seen ONE Dana (44 i believe) on a KJ, and i'm not so sure what the 4 cylinder models get as there's only a handful of them out there. I would imagine over in Greece you'd have the 8.25 also. If it's sorta flat on the bottom, it's the 8.25.

Should be Chrysler 8.25" 29 spline. Any locker for a 8.25" 29 spline should work.

That one Dana you've seen was the D35. 4 Cylinder models also got the D35. VERY FEW 3.7Ls got it.
