What power upgrades do you recomend?

Daimler is Mercedes,the one and the same.

Yeah, but the transmissions are built here in the USA. I think they are just plain old Chrysler Transmissions. Just because they were Daimler, doesn't mean they helped with them. It would be different IF they used a Mercedes automatic transmission though. These transmissions are ALWAYS being redesigned, like 22 valve-body changes thus far? When I see something that days Mercedes helped redesign it, I will believe it. I never hear a Mercedes pull up and go "bzzzzzzzzzz-tick" - Mitsubishi? Yep, but not a Mercedes...

Yeah, but the transmissions are built here in the USA.

So are honda's but they are still not American.


Mitsubishi may have had a hand with the 42RLE(A604,stupid minivan) but the 45RFE was a new design starting in '99 that used Mercedes tech and Mercedes money.
