What is this oil leak?

I noticed a leak yesterday where the shaft meets the front diff. What part is leaking here and what do i need to do to fix it?

P.s I wonder if this is whats causing my Jeep to veer under acceleration and deceleration..?

That is the front differential pinion seal leaking.
The veering under acceleration and and off is the rear lower control arms. The bushings are worn and are allowing the rear differential to move back and forth. This acts like the rear steering on a forklift.
