What are these?

05 liberty 3.7, Sorry no pic yet but the 2 small metal tubes that run right behind your oil plug area, they have a black clip holding them together....what are they for and is it bad that the clip on mine fell off and they are hanging a little low? Thanks in advance!

They are the lines that go from the transmission up to the trans cooler.
