My dad is considering a vehicle to leave behind in the winter and not take it to they’re winter home. It’s an 02 sport 4wd 70000 miles I guess it’s in immaculate condition and it’s been very well cared for.

I’ve got my own 02 so I kind of know problem areas and I could work on it for him if he’d like so that’s a plus. He has the money to buy new but is thinking why not if it’s only going to be driven for 6 months a year then sit.

The guy is asking $5800 for it. Think it’s worth that? I think he’s way high but thought I’d ask here.

It is a sport not limited, and condition is everything. Inspection for rust, how does it look underneath?
It does seem high but you have to deal with your Dad on it.
Check your local craigslist ads, even add Edmunds into your 2002 kj search, wholesale would be much lesser value.
$4500 retail my guess depending on options, got the VIN number ? You can online see the build sheet. https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing

I’m not buying it, he may buy it from someone else. I’ll see if I can get a vin. I’ll hopefully get to look at it before he would buy it.
