Since I will be replacing my radiator very soon, and doing the power steering hoses at the same time I though, 129K miles on original water pump that hasn't failed yet, why not change it out too. Other than Mopar, can anyone recommend a quality WP that I won't be replacing in a year? I know to stay away from the box store ones, AZ, Advanced, Oreilly.

the seller is a Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealer. I don't mind $130, I'll have to call my local dealer. NAPA new WP I would assume is the next best?

As far as ebay in general, you have to research the sellers, I have bought and sold car/ motorcycle, Jeep parts for years with only one bad experience, and the guy gave me a full refund when he got the damaged part returned. Guys down the street will screw you just as fast as an ebay seller, or be just as good too. The guy that sells the intermediate shaft on ebay, excellent seller.

you know tjkj... after my crown axle seal troubles, I am going with the MOPAR water pump. I despise doing a job over and over because of junk parts. I'll take the blame when it's my install error but cheap parts are actually very expensive. My time!

My local dealer wanted $209 and wouldn't budge on price. So I bought the one on ebay, $139 and free shipping. They are a Jeep dealership.

I guess Napa for a thermostat, is next.

I got a remanned one from Napa, been almost a year and no issues. It was $50 IIRC, it's a Mopar one still.

Well crap! Ordered Napa T stat with seal yesterday from Napa. Mopar pump will be here next week and warranty radiator came today. Epoxy putty on the tank crack today to get me by for another week I hope.

Dealer for the t-stat,unless you want to replace it in a year.

You mean the aftermarket can't even make a thermostat? Not really too surprised.
I think I put a Stant in mine a few years back. No issues, but the one I replaced was the factory and worked for 120k. Actually was still working but I was trying to be proactive. Saved the old one in case of emergency.

Yeah same here. Trying to be proactive, nothing wrong with my tstat or water pump. Just 128k miles on em. Since I have to do the radiator.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!

Have had issues in the last year with aftermarket t-stats,stant has been the worst offender.
