Pretty much it, just use the backside of the socket when you smack the snap ring in, and then tap a prybar or screwdriver against it to make sure it's seated

You can buy a tool that presses the u-joint out rather than pounding it but I don't happen to have one in my toolbox.

I haven't changed one on the Libby yet but I've often changed them on my YJ. Is it really that important to mark the position of it before removing the driveshaft?
