A few weeks ago, my Liberty CRD's transmission began slipping. It was really sudden. I drove it the night before. My wife went to start it up, shifted it into reverse, revved it up, it rolled a few feet and stopped. Shifting into drive gave the same results. Couldn't get it to move more than a few feet.
I barely got it into the garage. Since then, I have removed the oil pan to check if the filters were loose. They didn't appear to be. I have disconnected the ****** from the engine to get to the torque converter. The TC doesn't appear to have any exterior defects.
I remember having some definite shudder at 2700 rpm and then small whining (spin down) noises. I also pulled codes:
P0700 Transmission Control System
P0731 Gear 1 Incorrect Ratio
P0876 Powertrain
P0501 Speed Sensor Range (this is yellow)
Here are pictures of the torque converter (the last 5):

Is the torque converter dead or is something else wrong?
Thanks,
