Hello,
My 2004 KJs transmission is out, we have been saving up the money to replace it, but i have a question, can i put a transmission from a 2002 KJ in it? I know they are different transmissions but i just found a transmission from a 2002 for a reasonable price and if it would work in mine id buy it. Thanks for looking!

No. You have the 42rle. If yours is the automatic.. it's controller is integrated into the pcm. The 02 is the 45rfe. It uses a separate computer. The 45rfe will not work with your pcm.
