Any ideas what would cause this? High voltage?

doesn't want to get up and go.

It's in limp mode. It's stuck in second gear to limp you home. If you clear the code and it comes rite back on the TCM is bad. Relay inside tcm is shorted to ground.

Why on earth would there be a relay built into the TCM??

I have spare TCM"s, so not a big deal. But I'm not going to risk another one on it.

Is there another relay associated with the TCM anywhere?

Its just like having the injector drivers built into the ECM but the relay is in the TCM. Dont know why it happens though. Once I changed the TCM problem was gone and had no way of testing old one to see why it happened...
