Transmission Change Out

I have a 2.4L with a manual transmission. It is really underpowered when going up hills.... Is it possible or has anyone heard of installing a turbo charger??? I know some 2.4L PT Cruisers have turbos...

Also, does anyone think it would be possible to install an automatic transmission? Is this something I can go to AAMCO for? Thanks!

anything can be done with the right amount of money. As far as turboing the motor, that would probably be less expensive then trying to change trannys. I think i would just save all the hassle and trade in for a different KJ. Whether its a 3.7 or a CRD

Changing out the ****** would make it worse.. Why would you want to do that?

Im sure you can turbo charge a 2.4l. Ive seen it done in the wranglers so i dont know why you couldnt do this one..
