Good-day guys:),

Hope all is ok; I was trying to torque my brand-new Moog UBJ at 60ft and it went bang in 2 pieces:eek:. (Pictures attached). Any ideas where I can order exactly the same online. I checked jeepin by All’s and couldn’t find the same.

Is 60ft correct torque for the Moog UBJ:confused:

Thanks

Nice KJ..Nice Porsche...and JBA doesn't have the same UBJ...?? He did change to better fitting ones so you do not have to fit the spacer to hold the dust boot but the base plate is the same so they should fit.

60ft is what the FSM says.

thanks for the info Tony;)

FSM has no bearing on this situation, because it's a part for a GM vehicle, not a KJ. Look up the torque for the UBJ of a 1988-1998 GM K1500 fullsize pickup, since that's what it looks like the balljoint is for. Without knowing the actual application, can't say for sure what the torque spec should be.
