Would someone be able to help me locate the part number of the single wire temp sending unit located in the block for an 02 Liberty Limited 3.7?

Also, are there any drawing displaying the location of the sensor?

Thank you for any help/input to this. I haven't been able to get much help out of dealers.

That is a coolant temp sensor but isn't there a separate single wire temperature sensor located in the block for the temp gauge?

Nope, the one in the intake is for the PCM(and guage). The temp guage is a dummy guage and is not anywhere near correct. At the halfway mark the coolant temp is between 178 degrees and 229 degrees,at the 3/4 mark it's between 230 degrees and 259 degrees,at full hot the temps are above 260 degrees.

That makes sense. The problem I'm having is very hard starting in cold weather. Cranks but does not start. Replaced the coolant temp sensor and the PCM is still reading around 143 degress when it has been sitting in a <30 degree garage for weeks.

I'm a little stumped to what may be causing this, whether it's wiring or a bad pcm at this point.
