What does the noise sound like? A grinding, thumping, or rotational noise? Does it increase tempo along with vehicle speed? Does it do it cold or hot? These questions will help you get better responses to help with your problem.

Yeah, we need a more precise description of the noise. Does it come from behind, in front. Is it a whine, a grind? What speed is it loudest? This will help determine if it's a wheel bearing, differential, drive shaft etc.

Might be the tires, just the nature of the beast kind of thing.Did it just start making noise,or has it been progressive?

starts at 30 and disappears at 50 rotational noise

My tires do that too, not terribly loud but i do hear just a bit of tire noise between like 30-50mph, but after that when i get up to highway speed they don't do it anymore. Started about a month after i got the tires on and got some wear on them. Going to have the balance double checked when i rotate them at a buddies shop, but i don't think there is a balance problem as there is no other signs of something being wrong, just a nice tire hum. Sounds odd but thats what it does, and i have looked over everything underneath and around, checked the driveshaft, all fluids, etc.

It doesn't surprise me too much after years of owning old trucks and various tire combos.

Wheel hubs/bearings!

40k on mine and I had to replace BOTH of the fronts. I thought it was tire noise too. $800 later for new tires and the noise was still there. No play in the wheels, couldn't replicate the sound on jack stands. Needed to be on the ground with weight on it.

I doubt thats it in my case... I didn't have the noise when i had the stock crappy Wrangler tires on it, and after putting my new Kumho's on it i had a slight noise increase for the first few hundred miles and now they are kinda averaged out to a nice hum. Nothing out of the ordinary from my experience. Seems like the first few hundred miles they are louder as you break them in and rub off the casting marks and shiny surface.
