Yes,one bolt holds unit in/on block
Just the pulley would need to be replaced correct not the whole unit? So its not a thing that is typically a pain the a$$ to change? Took me a hour yesterday to cut the bolts off from and wrestle my muffler off. I have a long drive tomorrow and I dont want to not be able to do it because I run into a problem replacing the tensioner pulley and belt. The belt seems easy enough, but if the the pulley ***** to get at or the bolts like to stick I could have a issue.
Bit pricey to do that I think. What are the potential issues with replacing just the belt so I have a good belt?
One more tip: Put the old belt in your recovery kit, you never know when it might come in handy

Doubt the world will end,though some,Yellocoyote,comes to mind have had major break down because of this,it is a $60 part,15 min.replacement,your right there replaceing belt anyway.
Thanks for the info guys, and the tip on keeping the old belt. I might have to keep a wrench in my car just so I can replace it if I had to. I dont really know if I need to replace the whole tensioner. My current belt is perfectly tensioned, and has no issues but some obvious cracking.

Well most times, I heard mine starting to make noise when we were pulling out to go on a 500 mile trip, shut it off, got the new one out from under the seat and 5 minutes later was off again. 50 miles down the road it started raining for the next 200!
