Is your holiday going to be:

An off road trip. Or using secondary roads whenever possible (Where and when are you going?)

Camping, Sight seeing along the way.

Visiting friends and or family.

Or a combination of all of the above.

The first week in May the family and I are flying to Seattle to attend my Brother-in-laws wedding and just visit with family. Then on the 3rd weekend in May I will take the KJ to Uwharrie National Forest to wheel with my Suzuki buddies. Other than that I am sure I will spend a couple of Weeks down in Hatteras this summer like usual.

We were going to hit Colorado but are now talking about a couple of camping trips closer. Perhaps pan for some gold :)

We'll be in Moab for 2 weeks in late May/early June. Expedition-style camping and off-roading for 3 days, then normal campground-type camping with some other folks from LOST/JKJC after that. Pastafari 2011!

Then, in October, we're doing a 4-day off-road/camping weekend in Harlan, KY. East Coast Safari '11

Outside of those 2 events, everything else we might do will be during the course of a normal weekend. All of our family lives nearby - within a few hours - and so we save our vacation days for other cross country getaways. :)

Planning a few motorcycle trips. A Lake MI loop with two old freinds. And another solo tour in September, destination unknown as of yet.

Quite likely throw in a few weekend cycle tours here and there along with a camping trip or two.

Starting next month we'll be busy building our Heep.
But we will have our semi-local camping excursions with Tim, out to
Chilliwack Lake, Allouette Lake, Like to get to Manning and rent a
canoe for the weekend.
Any other Provincial park like
My daughters express interest in going camping with Jen and I as well!
14 and 16 years of age. I didn't really get a chance to take them when
they were younger and growing up. (due to ex-wife... )
So I take any and all opportunities to spend time with them.
We are going to take them along with us this year for a vacation
Heibloem family holiday.
Jen really wants to go back down to the Oregon Coast and go to Sand Lake
http://www.sandlakeoregon.com/ and try out the new lockers and gears!

I'd like to go to Valley of Fire State Park and the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon is awesome - I was there years and years ago. I'd love to go back now and do more that I couldn't do before... my parents pretty much kept to the touristy side of things, so we didn't get to do fun things like hiking in the canyon and all that other stuff. But even viewing the canyon from any point along the rim is breathtaking. :)

Hopefully I will make this year's family reunion in Philadelphia. I don't want to go (Too expensive, the last family reunion was free for everyone, we raised almost $10k) but... if I don't go, I will feel bad.

I will hopefully make a few wheeling trips sometime this year.

I was there in April last year.

I don't know what I am doing or where I am going this year. A couple weeks in Michigan sometime here in the near future, and I would like to go back to Moab again this year.

Come hell or high water I will be beating the snot out of my KJ on the trails this summer.Better get those $5-$6 a gallon gas prices so the trails are pretty empty, hate traffic on the trail. No fancy trips planned, might go back to SD for a week to see the old man.
