Goodyear M/T R's or buy a set of Treadwright tires?
That is my question.

How many miles are on your MT/R's? They are already worn out? You haven't had them that long have you?
If you wore out those MT/R's quick, I would go with Treadwrights. I have no complaints with mine; 20,000+ miles and they are still going strong.
I wonder if they ship to Canukville though. May have to look into that.
I'd get the real thing,my 2 cents.I've seen alot of those retreads come through the shop and to say the least not impressed.Had some take as much as 30oz+ to balance if they balanced at all, caps seperating from the carcass, and all that fun stuff.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of 5 of those new MT/R's myself and sell the Toyo's.Funny thing is a set of five 35x12.50x15's is $200 cheaper then what your paying.
Might want to check if there available.I might have to go with plan "B" since 35" MT/R's are on national backorder since the military is buying all of them to be shipped to Afganistan for the special forces to use :emotions122:.Jen and I are taking my daughter to Seattle this weekend for her birthday presents.
While there I'm going to see if I can get a good price on the M/T R's.

Only on Hummers do they use those craptastic Wranglers,SF uses the good MT/R's on there Ford Rangers and Hilux's.I thought the U.S. Military ran the Mil spec. M/T R's

I didn't know they also ran the New tread style.
(Only going by what I've read in some 4X4 rags mind you!)

All of a sudden, the Walmart here has these coming out of the woodwork in all sizes.
Has anyone heard of any feedback on them?
