Hey everybody! I’m wondering will removing the rear sway bar help my 2wd get better off road? I’ve seen that some of you have done it. I’m a little sketchy on the issue. Is it really worth doing for me or not and why? (The only off-roading I do is through flat fields)

On an open diff, it can help with traction, as it will be easier to keep both wheels on the ground. But for field driving, I don't recommend it. :)

Dont waist your time. Your 2wd jeep wont see any benefits playing in a field. MAYBE you would see a small amount on rutted trails but thats it. In any situation that removing the sway bar would help you you are probably real close to getting stuck, unless of course youve got a locker in the back.
