So I finally paid her off today, a year and a half early--Woohoo :-D
That is fantastic! Good Job! I know how hard it is to pay off...
Bought mine w/32 k miles in July 08 and as of Dec09 (16 x $1300) it is mine. Feels Good.
Now it is easier to save up again! I am going to replace my 4 dr sedan soon and will start to look for a newer Lincoln!
Use my Kj now for winter only...sedan's are my preferred highway type vehicles.

LOL...

I got my titles tucked away in the safety deposit box at the bank. That makes it their responsibilty in the case of loss, and they cover the financial costs in replacing it. I also put my abstract of title on the house in there... You don't EVER want to replace one those buggers, i know one guy that lost his, cost over $2700 to get a replacement made up. Mine goes back to when this land was owned by the nearby railroad and shows the original parcel sale, neat piece of history...

I hate states that the bank holds the title but i understand why they do.

Grats on the pay off!!icon996.gif

I couldn't imagine walking in and paying cash for a new/near new vehicle....must be nice.. as they say. ;)

Well i was 18 last year when i got my 06, so i don't even have the credit to get a loan for a car, but i got real lucky someone wanted my 2000 XJ real bad which i paid $2400 for and modded maybe $3k max into and after a straight trade i got the KJ but it needed about $800 of work before even DDable.
So my 06 cost me about $6200 last year :D

Oh yeah can't find another deal like it! But it did have a bit of high miles for the year 63k at the time i got it, just hit 67k today since i don't drive it too much it will start to level itself better.
To be honest when i first got it i thought about cleaning it up and selling it just to make some money...
But i like it wayy to much! So much smoother then the XJ for DDing and a bit more luxury and options, oh and the backseat is wayyy better :D
