Seatbelt warranty

My seatbelt lately has not been retracting all that well when I get out and I have to throw it back in the jeep whenever I get out. Also it has not been feeling that snug when I er in. I know there are lifetime warranties/laws that would require a dealership to replace it for free, would this be means to do so?

Where did you hear that there is a law requiring a lifetime warranty on seatbelts? The only reason the dealership would have to replace your seatbelt (outside of your normal warranty) would be if there is a safety recall.

Ah. I was thinking there was an airbag/seatbelt thing. Idk, doesn't hurt to ask does it?

Nope no extended/lifetime warranty on the seatbelts(or airbags).
