Royal Purple Oil?

Really simple, anybody currently using it?
Anybody heard anything negative about it?
If you are using it, any performance gains?

It's supposed to be comparable to Redline Oil products.
Costs a bit more than Mobil One Syn oils. Just under $5 a quart.

Okay, then I'll take one for the team and report any findings.

just switched to Amsoil, by becoming a preferred customer for $10 every six months you can get the stuff at cost. $4.85/qt for 5w-30, change it once a year or every 25,000 miles, just change the filter per manufacturers requirements. I originally was looking for 0w-40 oil for my Polaris ATV and Amsoil was much cheaper than the Polaris Oil, but I like the idea of extended drain intervals so I switched all my vehicles over. Better for the environment, less work for me.

I run Mobile One in the Jeep, but I put Amsoil in my father's Honda when I changed the oil for him last time...I am thinking of putting it in the Jeep as well....we'll see.
