Rocker arm was found loose, the valve spring is compressed....how the heck do you get it unstuck???

Rocker arm was found loose, the valve spring is compressed....how the heck do you get it unstuck???

Did the engine overheat or get hot? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you may have a collapsed lifter which is an easy fix, but the odds are you dropped a valve seat. The steel seat falls out of the aluminum head and is holding the valve from closing, keeping the spring depressed. If the lifter change doesn't work you have a big job ahead. Good luck!
