My first post.. Of course I have to start with something strange! Your patience appreciated.
2007 Liberty 11,500 miles Sharp left turn after backing out of garage or tight turn in parking garage makes med-high pitch noise. Goes away when driving straight. Dealer replaced belt at about 7,000 miles. Noise went away. Noise returned and dealer replaced belt and tensioner about 8,500 miles.
Noise is back . Dealer checked it last Friday. Tech made noise while testing in pkg. lot. Prelim inspection he felt/observed some irregularities..maybe some substance? Deposit? Roughness? No observed leaks. Have appointment tomorrow for complete detective job. My concern is that they will just replace belt again.
Any ideas about what I should be watching for to indicate that they get it right? This will be extended warranty work or no charge fixing their previous work.
