Rear Axle Shaft differences drum v/s disc

Well I can seem to be able to locate a new rear axle shaft for my 2003 KJ until May and I am not waiting that long so my question is this: IS the rear axle shaft the same between 2002 (Corporate, Drum Brakes) and 2003 (Disc Brakes) ?

All KJ 8.25 rear diff axles are the same from '02-'05 regardless of disc or drums.They changed the axles in '06+.
