Rattle

Hi all I have a 2.8 crd 2006 jeep cheroke when it's cold I get a rattle noise from under the gear stick- passenger seat but seems to die down when run for a while it's more noticeable when in reverse.also I get a ticking noise when in second gear I can feel it threw the gear stick are these noises the characteristics of my jeep also it's done 34000 miles I would welcome your replys
