Engine gets noisier the faster I go

I have noticed that my engine noise is getting louder when I am on the Motorway, I was suspecting that my exhaust was blowing but it sounds ok when I am just driving locally
the performance is not affected by the sound but it sounds like a deep droning
I have the Liberty CRD 2.8 automatic, I do have it in for a full service but not for another week

Front driveshaft CV joint?

Hole rotted in air intake hose? Underneath near turbo inlet is where they get soft.

How long and far ago was your timing belt replaced?

Hi there

I have taken advice and my Mechanic says it could be a turbo problem, getting it checked out fully today, thanks for your reply

Sounds more like a wheel bearing.

I am having it serviced next week and my mechanic says he will take it out for a drive to see if he can diagnose, it has stumped us you might be right with the wheel bearing
