As seen below in my signature, I have a 2wd 04 KJ. Now, I have high doubts for this. I didn't buy the car. It was passed down to me. BUT. Does anybody know if it would be possible to put 4wd on my KJ and how I would go about doing this? I really want 4wd but am afraid its impossible..

lol, I didn't say that, anything is possible... It would cost you a few bucks I think, unless you got everything from the scrapyard.
I'm sure some of the gurus on here will chime in and tell you exactly what you need to do.

Yeah, I don't have the money to do that at the moment...

Even using junkyard parts it would be cheaper to trade in 2wd for a 4wd.

Which rear diff do you have open or trac-lok?
Even though you do not have a 4WD, you would be surprised where you can go with really good AT tires and a locking or limited slip (posi) rear diff. My Rocky Mountain came with Trac-Lok (posi) rear end and when Ryan & I did the muddy triangle Road playground, I was mainly in 2WD. The only time I switched into 4 WD was when climbing the mud banks to pull me out & up some real nasty steep slimy stuff. Even in the snow the KJ does quite well in rear drive as long as you take it easy and realize limitations.
AS mentioned above the cost of installing a 4 wd drive system into a 2WD KJ is not realistic in any way shape or form. The trade up to a 4WD is the only thing that makes any sense. If you were just doing some back road trails etc and wanted better traction a posi-trac unit like a Detroit Truetrac, or the ultimate Arb Air locker $ could be installed if you have currently an open rear diff.

Would it make any sense to put a lift on mine? And yeah, I guess I'll just have to wait until I can trade mine in. Problem is finding a KJ with low miles....

You could sell the 2WD Kj privately and do ok.
No point in investing in a lift if you are going to get a 4WD. Do lift on next KJ!

It might be a few years till I can sell mine. Haha. But I've got a new set of Yokohama AT-S tires on mine now. Would those do good off road?
