I did the struts and front hub on my drivers side the other night at a buddies shop. When he pulled the axle he was surprised that absolutely no fluid came out.

I am not a mechanic, and I recently had my driveline completely serviced. My question is this: should there have been fluid that came out? Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe a little bit on the splines or clinging to the shaft but not much. I would check the fluid level in the front diff just to be sure.

There is a seal around the opening that the drive shaft slides into, to prevent fluid from escaping :waytogo:

Yep, what Luke said. No fluid should come out unless the diff is over-filled or you're on a serious incline :happy160:
