I don't have a voltage meter so I can't check myself, but I am curious if the 12v power is always on to the brake lights (specifically the center roof mounted one) or is power only supplied when the brake is pressed?
I want to wire a reverse camera the points down and figured that would be a great spot to place it.
If I don't screw it up I am also considering putting in a front view camera but I have no idea what to wire it to. I did a practice test and wired a camera to the battery, positive and negative wires but couldn't get it to work. Don't want to wire it to the headlights.
